Installation ------------ You will have to download the files separately. Two reasons : you can use files that you've already downloaded, and my internet transfer rate is really slow, so I can't upload a big clean install file. All files are available at http://perso.libertysurf.fr/kurikuri/quick/fr/etude.htm#kanjibunka32 You must download : kb32v110.zip : the main archive ! This is Kanji Bunka 32 v1.1. You need it. kb32dlls.zip : you must download this file once kb16x16.zip : this is the 16x16 bitmap font for the Japanese characters. You must download this file once kbinfo.zip : this file contains all information about Japanese characters. You must download this file once You may also download once : kb48x48.zip : this file contains the 48x48 bitmap font. Optional, but highly recommended kb24x24.zip : this file contains the 24x24 bitmap font. Optional. If you have the 48x48 font, you won't need this one If you don't want to see ugly kanji, please download the 48x48 font. Instructions ------------ 1. Download the necessary files 2. Unzip them in a directory of your choice (e.g. c:\kbunka32). 3. Run the executable program called kbunka32.exe, in your installation directory. 4. Delete all zip files if you don't want to keep them. About fonts and info files -------------------------- Optionally, but it is recommended, you may install either 48x48 or 24x24 font files. If you do install them, the big kanji displayed on the screen will look nicer. Font files are called k16x16.f00, k24x24.f00, k48x48.f00. The kanji file is called kinfo.dat. If some of them are already on your computer (e.g if you're using JWPce), then you don't need to install them again. You can select the folder where they are in Kanji Bunka's options. You can find all files at http://ftp.cc.monash.edu.au/pub/nihongo/00INDEX.html as well.
