*Amiga Kanji routine Beta release* This is the 'Beta' release of this package because no one but myself (Roger Ang) has seen this software. I'd appreciate feedback on this before spreading this software elsewhere. The package is in a 4.7+ Mb LHa archive which includes: - source code for routines to display JIS characters in a custom window OR a CLI. - 41 sets of Amiga fonts implementing the JIS character set in 14, 16, and 24 point fonts. (And you can edit them with the old FED font editor!) - a complete Amiga port of XJDic 1.1 (a online Japanese-English dictionary) * Works in a CLI and displays kana and kanji! * Revised for low memory! Buffering allows use of XJDic on even a 1 meg Amiga! ('course it's really slow with low memory) * includes latest dictionary files - a couple of other utilities: a BDF to Amiga font converter, and a crude printing utility. Please read the included documentation about the problem with displaying kana/kanji in the CLI. If anyone has a way to fix/workaround it, I'd like to know. Thanks, Roger P.
